MAYLENE - III IN STORES TODAY!
The brand new record from Birmingham, Alabama's Maylene and the Sons of Disaster entitled III is in stores today (6/23)! III will undoubtedly be atop many top 10 lists for 2009 so run out and grab your copy today so you can say you were there in the beginning! The record is infused with Maylene's by now signature esoteric themes of final judgment, redemption and justice. MAYLENE BOX SETS DELAYED! PLEASE READ! (06-18-2009)
So we ran into a small production glitch with the Maylene box sets… such is life these things tend to happen. What does this mean? All it really means is that for those of you who ordered the box set already, you will be getting the box and flag separately from the t shirt and cd. Obviously the most important piece of the set is the actual CD, no worries there, those will be shipping ON TIME (with the t shirt)! As soon as the boxes come in we will ship them (along with the belt buckle and flag) to you.
CD and T Shirts are shipping on time.
Boxset/Flag/Belt Buckle will be shipped as soon as they come in. Like I said, obviously the most important part is that you get the actual music on time, which you will. We understand that some of you may be super bummed about this but believe me when I tell you that we did everything in our power to make this happen without a hitch. Thankfully the problem is easily being fixed and you will get everything you ordered just parts of it will be delayed. Thanks for understanding, we really appareciate everyone’s patience.
(p.s. you absolutely will NOT be charged for double shipping, we obviously will eat the cost of the second shipment, just didn’t want anyone to be concerned)

REVOLUTION MOTHER SONG FEATURED IN THE HANGOVER!
Revolution Mother’s song Ride The Sky II is featured in the major motion picture The Hangover which opened in theaters nationwide on June 5th. Ride the Sky, the original version of the song, will appear on the band’s new album Rollin' With The Mutha, in stores July 7th. The Hangover’s eclectic soundtrack will feature 12 songs from the movie and is available at digital retailers now, and on CD on Tuesday, June 23. The full track listing is as follows:

From Todd Phillips (a personal friend of Revolution Mother front man Mike Vallely and fan of the band), the director of Old School, and starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha and Jeffrey Tambor, comes The Hangover, a comedy about a bachelor party gone horribly wrong. Two days before his wedding, Doug and his three buddies drive to Vegas for a blow-out night they’ll never forget. But when the three groomsmen wake up the next morning with pounding headaches, they can’t remember a thing. Their posh hotel suite is beyond trashed and the groom is nowhere to be found. With no clue of what happened and little time to spare, the trio must attempt to retrace their bad decisions from the night before in order to figure out where things went wrong and hopefully get Doug back to L.A. in time for his wedding. However, the more they begin to uncover, the more they realize just how much trouble they’re really in.

Los Angeles based rock band LoveHateHero has posted a new song Echoes on their MySpace from their upcoming album Fight or Flight which the band recorded with platinum selling pop/rock producers Daniel James and Leah Haywood at Dreamlab Productions. The song is the first single posted from the album and acts as a smooth transition from the heaviness and soaring riffs of their last album White Lies and the polished guitar lines and clean vocal melodies of Fight or Flight. DISEMBODIED ADDED TO $10 FOR 10 TOUR FOR ST. PAUL MINNESOTA 7/31 DATE!
Legendary 90’s metal-core outfit Disembodied have been announced as special guests at the St. Paul, Minnesota stop at Station 4 of the $10 For 10 Hardcore Tour. The reunited band recently took part in shows in Chicago and California. Speaking on the $10 For 10 appearance bassist Tara said “This is a good show for us as it will give us the opportunity to play for a bunch of new kids who may have never heard us before. It also will give us another opportunity to play with Poison The Well who we have done many shows with in the past.” Also nostalgic is the fact that Disembodied where one of the first artists to release music on Ferret Music, who are one of the tour’s main sponsors.
