BAND HISTORY
Torn Apart were Baltimore MD's long time heavy hitters in the hard rock arena. Torn Apart's second full length effort, 'Ten Songs for the Bleeding Hearts' took them one step further in their progression. The release followed a year long haitus from touring and writing and the band were anxious to release their new material and unleash their new sound. Refined and honed to a perfect blend of their hardcore roots and the metal music they grew up listening to, they turned some heads in their day and made a lasting impression in their years of travel and work as Torn Apart.
Produced and engineered by Brian McTernan (Thrice, Cave In) at Salad Days and Mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side, this is their most personal release to date. It stands as a fitting tribute to an amazing band comprised of awesome people. We wish them well in their future endeavors... and suggest you check out 'The 59th Session', often hailed as one of, if not the, best release on Ferret.
